Deep in the Woods art exhibition features works by nine New York based artists. The artists each respond to the theme of 'Deep Woods' as a place of refuge, memory, support, occasional conflict, love, andhttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gif connection. Through their work, an understanding of 'Deep in the Woods" shifts from a physical place to a psychological space that is movable, transportable, and complex.
The artists are- Hayley Hara, Miranda Hellman, Jee Yun Lee, Jess Levey, Ali Palmatier, Helena Petersen, Lara Robby, Jen Sitron, and Vered Sivan.

+++++Silent Auction, October 20th 6-9 pm++++++
Deep in the Woods exhibition begins October 6th and will be on view at Morton Hall, 82 Kelly Street, Rhinecliff, NY until October 20th . On the evening of October 20th a silent auction will be held from 6-9pm. This one night event will include the work of local artists, as well as more ceramics, painting, photography, sculpture, and prints from the featured artists. Sales will benefit the library and community center.
