The {NewNew} continues its tradition of partnering with local charities by welcoming the Children's Museum of the Arts to the 2nd Annual Holiday Handmade Cavalcade.
The mission of the Children's Museum of the Arts is to extend the benefits of the the arts to all children and their communities, and to secure the future of the arts by inspiring and championing the next generation of artists and art lovers.
According to Lucy Ofiesh, Marketing Manager of the CMA, "We work to fulfill our mission by providing authentic hands-on art experiences for children with artists, both in our art-filled interactive museum, in the community, and by collecting and exhibiting children's art."
We are thrilled to be working with the CMA. Most of us have been creating and making since childhood ourselves, so we're well aware of the positive impact that art can have on a child's life. It means a great deal to us to support an organization that works to bring the joy and discovery of artistic expression to children who may not otherwise be exposed to it.
