Where to Find the {NewNew} May 15 and 16


This weekend the {NewNew} is infiltrating one of NYC's most fun traditions - the annual 9th Avenue International Food Festival! Finally - fried dough, shark kabobs, key lime pies, the cuisines of Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Mexico, India, Thailand, the West Indies and much more along with handmade crafts. In addition you can also find {NewNew) love in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. So, without further ado, here's the lineup!

New York City

For the first time in its long and illustrious history, the 9th Avenue International Food Festival is hosting an Etsy Village. Tickle your taste buds with amazing food from new exotics to down home favorites while checking out a wonderful selection of crafts. Look for a huge range of jewelry styles from AbbyHorowitzDesigns, AdornmentsNYC, BeadScarf, BrooklynBelinda, EnchantraGirl, LuisFernando, ItsALjubica, LadyThree, LoellaMedina, McFlashpants, and SaskaDeVries, Caja Jewelry.Pamper yourself with bath and body products from Off The Mat. Stack up on stationary by Alton Weekes and find some whimsical gifts at Purty Bird, LuCrafts and Lenny Mud. If you need a gift for that special kid in you, Panda with Cookie is sure to have a monster for you. Better than Jam and KimmChi will have just the right outfits for you to make your weekend extraordinary.

The Hester Street Fair is one of NYC's newest vintage, craft, and food markets. On Saturday, you can find Bhekipainting tote bags featuring one-of-a-kind designs that collage and reinterpret original artwork, and IreneCStudio presenting  handmade modern metal jewelry crafted from sterling silver and semiprecious stones.  

The Brooklyn Indie Market will have two vendors with extremely loyal return customers. See what they love! On Saturday at the Brooklyn Indie Market, join those who adore WabisabiBrooklyn's decoupage jewelry and all weekend Fofolle will be selling her handmade limited edition and one-of-a-kind super-wearable women's apparel.  Sunday will find IreneCStudio's handmade modern metal jewelry crafted from sterling silver and semiprecious stones.

On Saturday, The Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene will be host to {NewNew} members AdornmentsNYC with handmade jewelry with a vintage touch and PureSpa2 with natural soaps, scrubs and creams.

Hours: Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m

On Saturday, LadyThree will grace Artists and Fleas with handmade and revamped vintage jewelry along with handprinted cards and gift tags.
Location: 129 N 6th Street, Brooklyn
Hours: 12 - 8 p.m.

Philadelphia

This weekend, the {NewNew} will visit the City of Brotherly Love to participate in Art Star Craft Bazaar at Penn's Landing Great Plaza in Philadelphia. You will find Knitknit with her unique knitted and hand-felted accessories. KimmChi will be there with fresh summer fashions that can be topped off with a hat from Rocks and Salt. To spruce up your home, look no further than paper products by Pretty Stationary for Beautiful Souls, home goods by peppersprouts, and beautiful items by numerous {NewNew} members sold through Clay Wood and Cotton.

Verona Park, NJ

On May 15 and 16 Woolly Boo will be at Fine Art and Crafts at Verona Park in New Jersey (542 Bloomfield Avenue). She will be selling handcrafted, heirloom quality organic wool crib sets and sleep sacks. Location: 542 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ
Hours: Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
