Hearth and Home



HEARTH & HOME is a curated series of handmade housewares beginning Saturday, June 12th at the Brooklyn Indie Market.

Among the exhibitors will be Rebecca Sherman, a Brooklyn based artist and designer.

"My paintings , drawings and prints are inspired by the city's architecture, light,music and movement, and almost every piece is titled after a song," Sherman says.

Also participating in Heart & Home is May Luk of Take Me Homeware, who is well known for incorporating her original illustrations into her pottery.

New York City-based artist and stationery designer Molly Schulman, better known as Molly Shoelace, will also bring her colorful work to the Brooklyn Indie Market on June 12.

"My work often starts as a notebook doodle and is inspired by daydreams, visions of love, culinary adventures, and all of the strange and wonderful things that happen around here each day." Says Schulman.
