This year I'm thankful for...

... The Holiday Handmade Cavalcade sponsors! Without them, our event truly wouldn't be possible. This year we've got some seriously great sponsors lined up as well. Check them out below:

Etsy - Without Etsy, none of the NewNew team would even be possible. They've given us such an amazing site and network that has allowed so many people to live their dreams. We cannot thank you enough.

Lion Brand Yarn - is a one of a kind retail store and education center in Manhattan offering the most Lion Brand yarn under one roof and over 90 classes in knitting, crochet, weaving, machine-knitting, and dyeing.

The Sketchbook Project - is a collaborative series of art books created by 5,000 artists from around the world. Anyone can participate - all you have to do is sign up to receive a blank sketchbook in the mail, then fill it up and send it back. All submissions will be cataloged in the Brooklyn Art Library and published in the Limited Edition art book series. How cool is that?

Outright - is an online destination that streamlines the work involved with running a small business, helping entrepreneurs pay the right taxes, organize their income and expenses, and keep their businesses on track.

Fattycakes NY - These people make ridiculous cookies! Seriously, check them out.

First Prize Pies - These pies by Allison Kave have truly earned their name. Her bourbon-ginger pecan pie won the first prize at the 1st Annual Brooklyn Pie Bake-Off!

Roni-Sue's Chocolates - These folks are a small artistically chocolatier, and offer unique treats including maple/bacon lollipops, chocolate covered bacon and beer crunch.

The City Quilter - A quilting haven specializing in fabric for the urban quilter and sewer.

Purl Soho - a friendly yarn and fabric shop tucked into the small streets of Soho.

Swap-bot.com - an online service that organizes group swaps and a community of creative individuals.

Yelp - the fun and easy way to find and talk about great (and not so great) local businesses.

Knitty City - is an UWS based shop devoted to beautiful materials for knitting and crochet, instructional classes and community connection.

Square - These guys make it easy for small businesses (like me) to easily accept credit cards. HUGELY important in how I run my business.

Remember people, the Holiday Handmade Cavalcade is only 9 days away! I'm off to baste my turkey and finish my Cavalcade shopping list.

Hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving!
