Join Us for Our Photography Twitter Chat!

Hey everyone- I'm so excited to announce that the Etsy New York Team will be hosting its first twitter chat this Friday, April 20th, from 6-7pm!

You might be wondering: What is a twitter chat?  Well, it is a chat on twitter dedicated to a specific topic, where everyone can join in on the chat and learn from one another!  This Friday, we'll be talking about how to take great photographs for your Etsy shop.  Our speaker for this twitter chat will be the lovely Elena, of SimplyNu and 4USimply and our moderator Michelle, of My Zoetrope, will be fielding all of the questions to her.

The chat will run for one hour and we'll be covering all sorts of photography topics, including taking indoor/outdoor photographs, lighting, composition, creating a cohesive look for your shop, equipment, and more.  With great tips from Elena, you'll quickly realize that you don't have to be a pro to take great pictures for your Etsy shop!

Our hashtag for the twitter chat will be #ENYchat, which you can easily search on twitter or you can follow along on our dedicated tweetchat page.  Also, if you use a social media platform like Hootsuite or TweetDeck, you can follow along by searching our hashtag and creating a new column.  When tweeting your questions or comments, don't forget to include the hashtag so everyone can know what you're thinking!

We'd love to have anyone who's interested join in on this twitter chat, so go ahead and spread the word!  Towards the end of the chat, we'll have a Q&A portion, so if you have any questions that you would like Elena to answer, you can go ahead and leave them in the comments below.
