From Ghoulies & Ghoosties

Halloween and The {NewNew}

"From Ghoulies and ghoosties, long leggety beasties and things that go bump in the night,
Good Lord, deliver us!"

I found this "Quaint Old Litany" in the opening of an ancient book I have called "The Magic Casement", an anthology of English fairy poetry and plays assembled by Alfred Noyes.

Well, The {NewNew} has plenty of ghoulies, ghoosties and long leggety beasties that we would love to deliver to you!

Subway Series Issue #3 "Spring Showers"

Lorina Pellach ©2008

It's spring again! So why do we still wear our winter coats and scarves??? Ah nevermind. Spring means showers of all kinds: rain, bridal and baby showers, of course. I whipped these sweet little booties up on two subway rides, and improvised on the laces in contrasting color. These are for a little girl about to join the world this spring! See you next time!
