Thinking Green - Let's Reuse Plastic Bags

Let's aim to keep the world as green as this painting of a tree that I created:

In the past couple of days, I have been reading articles on the internet about ways to reuse plastic bags.
I thought that I had come up with every idea associated with reusing plastic bags.
I am happy to say that I was mistaken and that I acquired new tips for the reuse of plastic bags.

I love the ideas put forth in this article, for reusing plastic grocery bags.

From now on, I will continue to reuse plastic bags to:
-line the garbage bins in my house

I also plan to reuse plastic bags for packing my paintings.

Celebrating Earth Day

According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) the first Earth Day was celebrated in the United States on April 22, 1970.

Earth Day is now celebrated on an annual basis throughout the world.
And so, what started as a day of environmental recognition in the United States has evolved into a global campaign to protect our environment.

Senator Gaylord Nelson is the founder of Earth Day. He wrote an article called,
"How the First Earth Day Came About." It troubled the senator that the state of the environment was not an issue in politics.

Have you ever heard of Earthday.gov? I hadn't heard of it until today. According to this website:
"Earth Day is a time to celebrate gains we have made and create new visions to accelerate environmental progress."

Earthdaynetwork: every day for everybody appears to be an extremely interesting website that provides links to very important information.
I really like Earthdaynetwork's link to RESOURCES: where:
"Earth Day Network provides resources and materials that help organizations around the world build cleaner, safer and healthier communities."
