This week is the second week of of many Monday Giveaways. Each and Every Monday Stop by to enter to win something fabulous from members of The {NewNew} York Etsy team. This Monday we are proudly giving away a velvet appliqued Canvas Tote Bag - from our very own KimmChi.
This great one-of-a-kind totebag is made from a quality American apparel tote bag, and measures approximately 15" X 13" X 31/2" and is made from heavy weight bull denim woven cotton. It is decorated with whimsical bubbles in orange velvet that have been appliqued on to the bag.Perfect for going green and choosing cloth over plastic for those groceries.
Kimm is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the Bronx, and now living in Brooklyn. As a child she wanted to be a fashion designer and spent hours drawing clothing and attempting to make her own. Her parents were very supportive and let her out of the house in all of her creations (which often were sewn on as she could never get the hang of sewing in zippers and buttons!) As she got older she drifted away from fashion, more towards graphic design. KimmChi merges the two interests, and she can get back into working with clothing and accessories in a tactile way and silkscreening or appliquing graphic elements on to apparel (without having to put in zippers!).
