Felted Soap by NordeaSoaperie

Every weekend there are many markets all over NYC where artisans are selling everything from an elegant purse made from a recycled men's suit to laser cut wooden coasters. Take a chance this weekend and try shopping for something unusual. Instead of getting your soap at the local Duane Reade, head to the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene and try Nordea Soaperie's cerveza con lima body bar. And rather than swinging by SoHo for a spring dress, take a trip to the Brooklyn Indie Market to try on flirty, chic skirts by Fofolle.

Let your shopping choices make a statement about you! The {NewNew} aims to always bring you the best handmade options out there. Check them out at the following venues this weekend!

This week at the Brooklyn Flea, {NewNew} artisans NordeaSoaperie, YaniaCreations, BrooklynBelinda, and CajaJewelry will be at the outdoor Fort Greene location on Saturday, and YaniaCreations and AngelInStitches will be making an appearance at the One Hanson clocktower building on Sunday.
Saturday Location: Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School, Lafayette Avenue between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues. 10am - 6pm.
Sunday Location: One Hanson Place, Brooklyn. 10am - 5pm.

WabisabiBrooklyn and Fofolle will be at this lovely Carroll Gardens spot on Saturday. Take a stroll, visit one of the many excellent restaurants and cafes, and be sure to stop for handmade shopping at the red and white striped tent on Smith.
Location: Red and white striped tent on Smith and Union Streets, Brooklyn. Saturday, 11am - 7pm.
